We are aware that some customers using Google Programmable Search Engine (PSE) within Govstack CMS are seeing unexpected changes to the appearance and layout of search results. While search functionality remains operational, the presentation and styling of results have changed due to a recent frontend update released by Google. Because this change originated at the Google platform level, it affects any implementation using their PSE integration.
We understand that search is a critical component of the website experience and that consistency in presentation is important to our customers. Our team is actively assessing the impact of Google’s update across Govstack environments and determining the appropriate remediation approach. This includes evaluating technical feasibility and long-term sustainability to ensure a stable solution for all customers.
