Add a Page Menu Link

You can add page links to your website's top navigation menu in the Govstack back office under the Global Node.

Add a page link to the navigation menu

To add a page to the top navigation menu, you need to:

1. Navigate to the Global Node in the 'Content' navigation tree
2. Select 'Navigation' from the menu options
3. Go to the 'Main' tab
4. Select the 'Add' button, then select 'Add Link'
5. In the 'Link' text box where it says 'URL', add the URL for the page you want to add to the navigation menu. Alternatively, you can search for the page in the 'Type to search...' text box under 'Link to page'
6. In the 'Link title' text box, you can edit the title that will appear in the top navigation of your website for this page. Otherwise, it will simply autofill using the page name
7. Select 'Submit' to add the page link to the navigation menu
8. Move the page link to the appropriate location and page level in the navigation
9. Select 'Save and publish' to finalize the navigation menu changes

Link to another website from the navigation menu

You can add an outbound menu link to an external page on another website in your website's top navigation menu. When users select the link, they will automatically be redirected to that external page. To add an outbound menu link to the top navigation menu, you need to:

1. Navigate to the Global Node in the 'Content' navigation tree
2. Select 'Navigation' from the menu options
3. Go to the 'Main' tab
4. Select the 'Add' button, then select 'Add Link'
5. In the 'Link' text box where it says 'URL', add the URL for the external page you want to add to the navigation menu
6. In the 'Link title' text box, add the title that you want to appear in the top navigation of your website for the external page
7. Select 'Submit' to add the page link to the navigation menu
8. Move the page link to the appropriate location and page level in the navigation
9. Select 'Save and publish' to finalize the navigation menu changes
